Challenge
Aderia Glass makes artisanal glassware in Tsugaru-city, Japan. Through 200 years of commitment in glass making they have acquired quality, craftsmanship, and affordability that placed them in the forefront of the glassware industry.
When creating a website for Aderia Glass, we wanted to make sure it reflects the poetic and aesthetically-pleasing nature of their “handblown” glassware - as well as 200 years of glass making history deep-rooted in the town of Tsugaru. Every handmade piece is an inspiration from nature transformed into glassware by the hands or Tsugaru glass craftsman – and we wanted to express its essence through product names, descriptions, and company blogs.
Execution
We assisted in the launch of the U.S. website introducing TSUGARU Handblown Collection, artisanal sakeware, inspired by infinite colors and shapes of nature. We wrote the story behind every signature series, presenting each product as they’re one-of-a-kid art pieces.


Blog
With an intention to educate the customers, we have published blog posts about Japanese sake culture and sakeware, as well as the stories behind the Aderia craftsmen. By incorporating sake terminology and SEO’s we made the website more searchable and effective in inviting more traffic.
