Brand Story | Photoshoot Production

d Challenge

For over a century, Noutomi has been manufacturing high-quality socks for renowned apparel brands and fashion designers. 15 years ago, they launched their own luxury men's sock brand, NOUTOMI,  with "every man, every occasion, every day" in mind. 

Despite their advanced knitting abilities and its refined nature, they found it challenging to communicate their winning quality through basic product shots with mannequins and a plain background. They requested us to photograph their socks in lifestyle settings where the customers can envision themselves incorporating NOUTOMI into their everyday routine.

d Execution

In order to clarify their intention behind NOUTOMI's 100 Hue Collection of men's classic dress socks, We dug a little deeper into the history of three generational sock makers. We came to a clarification that the intention behind their products is to offer their customers a myriad of expressions in the simplest way. 

We scouted 5 men in different professions and requested them to individually style the colors of their choice. We captured the socks in different lifestyle settings where we were able to highlight their unique shades of colors, textures, and knitting details that express their mastery in the art of sock making.

A successful photoshoot requires the right crew to make your dream vision come to life. This photoshoot involved: Producer, photographer, videographer, make-up and hair artist, production assistant, and models.

Location Scout

Whether it takes place in the studio or outdoors, finding an aesthetically welcoming location that tells the background story is an essential part of the production.

5K budget photoshoot would look a lot different than a 50K budget photoshoot. No matter the budget, we customize the production by prioritizing your needs and still maintaining the quality and intention of the shoot.
